Half Marathon Training Week 13 Wrap up

We are here wrapping up our last week of training for our half marathon. The next two weeks will be our taper weeks. For the long run this week my sister and I were able to run it together which was really fun.


Week 13 stats

Wednesday: 5.01 mile hill run @ 11:17 pace

Friday: 3.5 mile speed work @ 10:26 pace

Sunday: 11 mile long run @11:02 pace

It was soooo humid out. We were getting worried about the race coming up, and how the weather would be. We got off to a late start so that didn’t help. But the weather can be so unpredictable. We did it though, we completed our furthest training run and our furthest run period! We feel accomplished, motivated, and ready for this race. It was really tough this last run, but coming home to breakfast ready made things better. See you at the race!
